The Covid-19 pandemic is marking an unprecedented milestone in our recent history and is forcing us to push our limits as a society. It is forcing us to work with the utmost discipline and solidarity as a team to curb the contagion curve and protect the vulnerable ones.
At the business level, the Covid-19 is also determined to discover still unexplored limits for most companies worldwide. We face a VUCA environment (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous), in things that can change unexpectedly and unpredictably in a matter of hours. In these moments we need to be more united than ever to keep giving the best of ourselves to society and customers.
STI Norland joined the recommendations of the WHO and the Spanish Government to help restrain the contagion curve. We have made available to our employees the necessary technology to be able to work from home, improving our telecommunications system with the clear objective of maintaining the level of customer service offered by STI Norland.
Regarding our supply chain and projects currently underway (totaling more than 1.5 GW), everything continues according to the delivery schedules agreed with customers and suppliers. Our manufacturing facilities in Spain and Brazil, as well as our suppliers, remain working in accordance to the plans established before the state of alarm.
Considering the uncertainty of current conditions, STI Norland is monitoring the distinct circumstances of each customer and supplier that may be affected by this coronavirus outbreak to ensure the supply chain.
